just been on news the first one is at Sherburn on the A64

Just seen on the new that it has been knocked over and is out of action, already.

Not sure whether it was an accident or deliberate.

I was just reading an article about it and all the loose dangling cable made it look very much like a temporary install.
I did wonder how long until it was vandalised, seems it wasn't very long at all!

Inevitable, but a shame.

North Yorkshire Chief Constable is IMHO one of the most sensible
coppers I know about.

We all want safe driving & you can't measure that in miles per hour.

Most wonderfully, the coppers in NY seem to know this, since it's
a county relatively free of fixed speed cameras.
