I'm after a set of mild AT tyres for a 4x4. It will be useful at times but really the car will spend much of its time on road. I'd like them to look like ATs but behave well and be quiet on road. It may be that all seasons are a better option. Any suggestions - 225 or 235 55 18.

Yokohama GO15, to replaced by the GO18 in due course which looks pretty much the same.

Several of us on the Landcruiser forum are using, them the official wet grip rating isn't that high, C wet grip if i recall but in practice they've proved unshakeable in the wet, are snowflake/mountain rated and proved good in the odd bit of snow enountered over the past 7 years with a quiet comfortable ride, now down to 5mm, H rated available too which is fairly unusual in genuine ATs.
Quite a soft sidewall so not meant for rock crawling.

Haven't checked them for your size but in my size at least a useful discount on Camskill currently and among the AT tyre range are decently priced too.

Probably replacing mine next year, might try Falken AT3/4 or the new Kumho AT52, mainly because they come with deeper new tread and in tests seem good enough in the wet, but would quite happily replace with another set of Yokos, for possibly more enthusiastic road use if yours is the deeper tread blocks might feel rather spongy.
