London to Brighton Old Crocs Run - Sussex Chapter

My Uncle has Caterham and every year he and about 30 other 7 owners watch the Old Crocs London/Brighton run from in front of Handcross Primary School/old A23 (they get a BBQ going for home grown sausages/hot dogs:lick:). I have been a lone TVR interloper on a couple of occassions.;)
Just wondering if any of the local gang fancy putting in a better show of 'proper' cars this year?
I think the run is early November? Just throwing the suggestion out to the PH Chapter to see if you guys ('n' gals) fancy showing the kit car boys a thing or two? :hehe:
If so, I'll see what I can do to include us in the hotdog catering (you can always count on me to source food...wonder why?;))

Good response so far 
so I'll make some enquiries with 'Unc' in the next few days. From experience we need to get there pretty early as it is a popular spot to watch from and can get a bit busy in the layby/service road, so if we all want to park together we best do a 'German' and get the towels laid out early 
I can ask if we can park in the school with the 7s but to be honest the buggers normally fill it up with their kit cars so we will have to look for an alternative area

Date: 1st Sunday in November (6th Nov this year I believe?)
Time: Home grown sausages on the go from about 10.45 to 11.15, so suggest we get there for about 10.15am or shortly after to make sure we get a parking spot? Bring some flasks/coffee with you? (you just know its gunna be brass monkey weather and/or peeing down = 1 point to the 7s)
Means enough time for maybe a 9.30am meet and a quick blatt in the Sussex countryside before breakfast?
Note: The sausages/hot dogs are provided free, but will be looking for donations to Leukaemia Research. 'Unc' tells me the 7 lot are tight arses (obvious really, thats why they buy kit cars
..OK, enough 7 bashing for now 
) so lets have plenty of small change in the pockets to put in a good show for TVR owning gentlefolk..pretty please

Sausages with a donation .. no problem.
If it's sunny - I'll bring the convertible and if it'f really cold I'll bring the T350 : it's like standing next to a blast furnace when the heater is on.
How about a cruise along part of the route .. say meet at the MoleVally Redhill TVR site (next to the A23)
and then drive the route.. to the Sausages

Apparently, as this is the 7's Club's last 'do' of the year, there could be up to 100 7s attending
and the hotdogs will be on the go from about 9.30am so we may have to have a rethink on the timing and bring it forward slightly? (if we want hard standing to park on. Ample room if we, like many others, just park on the verge to watch the Crocs 'chuff' by). Maybe advisable to bring some sarnies in case they run out of pig, unless we get there in good time and then we can eat all the 7 boy's quota
Ive just dropped an email to ncs (TVRCC RO and esteemed PH member) to see if he wants to boulster our numbers in the face of such strong competition from the kit car lot and bring some of his posse down They are from Kent so I can fully understand why they make so many cross-border raids to Sunny Sussex
