Self leveling compound - Chipboard
Discussion
Does anyone have any recommendations on a suitable leveling compound that would work on 22mm chipboard P5 moisture resistant floor?
A bit of background. I need to infill the floor of a sectional building. When the building was moved, the chipboard infill was removed so the sections could be split and transported. New chip board infill will be cut and screwed into the steel frame, and then the plan was to level up to the wooden floor either side with leveling compound - circa 2mm / 16cm wide. The chipboard / ply floor that covers the main spans of the sectional building appear to have had some compound applied bringing them up to 24mm.
I am inclined to just use some cheap stuff from screw fix, but unsure on whether it would work without cracking. Once done it will be overlaid with preexisting thick carpet.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I use mapie ultra plan there are a few different products, just make sure it’s suitable for wooden floor and you use a suitable wood sealant prior to the leveller . Further I would 3mm being careful to seal all holes first. The process is simple but you don’t have much time before it starts going off. I would be careful about cheap compounds also, might not get an even finish.

Not understanding. This is basically a threshold strip that is 2mm lower than the flooring on either side?A bit of background. I need to infill the floor of a sectional building. Self levelling is just going to turn to powder under the carpet if that is the case.
Why can't you use a timber fillet to raise the section level?
