Lease company have said that if i hand the car back 2 months early i will be charged "an amount"

"To summarise, if you were to hand the vehicle back 2 months early, you would be required to pay the actual early termination fee which is generated by a calculator but as explained above, we would only be able to retrieve the quote one month prior".

My company have said "leave 2 months early = 2 months worth of payments".

I'm saying no fees as the T&Cs don't mention anything under 3 months.

Here is the only section pertaining to exit fees:

I want to end my lease in about Fed 26 so i can start a new one at the, hopefully, end of year EV fire sale (to meet the Gov targets). It will cost me about £1300 if i pay the 2 months. Clearly i want to avoid that and feel the T&Cs are woolly enough to back up my case.

What's the general conscious?

You want to pass on the cost of your convenience to the lease company.
They will charge you the 2 months for that I figure.

Final 6 months =3 months of payments

Anything less than 3 months will be the actual amount.

I.e If you exit with 1 month left it's 1 month of charges

That's how I read it,

I was charged 50% payments when I terminated 2 months early.

These salary sacrifice/lease deals are a horrible way of making it difficult to change jobs. You get a 2 year lease, offered a better job elsewhere a few months later and they want a 12 month penalty payment on the car. Right.

Paragraph 1 says "If you leave Babcock...". Are you leaving?

If not, then Paragraph 2 says "We don't anticipate any requirement for early termination other than leaving...but if you do want to exit due to extenuating circumstances...". Do you have an extenuating circumstance?
