My GT is currently with Martins (Winchester) waiting on a new intercooler (was the cause of my coolant loss). I've been given a new "S" as a loan car so it was good to have a comparison. A couple of things that stood out

The difference in the suspension, much firmer (I don't think I could live with it)

The bucket seats which were more comfortable than I had imagined on the 80 mile drive home (they are set to high for me at the moment), although my wife tried a car with buckets before I bought the GT and said no (so that was that smile).

It was struggling a bit in traffic (A303 \ Stonehenge) in normal mode at crawling speed (shunting), possible due to the engine only having 50 odd miles on it much better in sport with the higher tick over.

It didn't seem so susceptible to crosswinds and much more "planted" than mine.

Its in Alpine Blue and seemed to get more attention than my Normandy Green one.

ps I was driving it carefully in line with the running in process.

There is an argument that the factory set-up on the front suspension is a bit variable. Many on here report that having the suspension set to the Life 110 geometry (the data for which is available free from their website) makes the car less susceptible to side winds.

Life 110 Geo on a GT improves stability a lot and also behavior of the car in cross winds.

I tried an 'S' and was happy to return to my GT and subsequent San Remo.

I'm thinking a geo setup check and change to Life110 settings when I get it back. Tyres are also wider on the "S"

I have wider wheels/tyres (S-spec) on my non-S and there is a little bit more tyre noise, more grip and perhaps an very fractional reduction in ride quality; however, no where near S level of suspension. As someone who came from a late model 911 Turbo S and an Artura, I can tell you first hand that the A110s magic trick is the ride quality.

As for your comment re the buckets, every person who has sat in my car has commented on how comfortable the seats are; which is interesting because I've previously found the Porsche buckets to be woefully uncomfortable. I'm added a Sabelt lumbar pad and now I find the buckets amongst the best sports car seats I've owned.
