last two days There s been no WiFi in the cabin, I have a Ethernet cable running from the house underground into the cabin.

In the cabins theres a black virgin wifi pod, I have another of these in the house which Ive swapped to test and this doesn t fix the issue.

Im dreading the possibility of the cable itself being the cause, the Ethernet port in question on the house router is lit up, does this mean the connection is established or would it just light up because somethings plugged into it?

As for the cabin pod, there s a solid white light showing which Is normal

Plug something else in on ethernet like a laptop and see if it works.

Get a cheap two-piece RJ45 tester, one bit goes on either end of the network run. It will tell you whether all 8 cables are correctly wired.

If not, the first thing to do is rewire the RJ45 plugs on both ends of the cable run, that s where the problem is more often than not

As suggested, just plugged a laptop into the Ethernet in the cabin and thankfully it works.

So somethings spontaneously caused the pods not to work
