I hear it under good authority that the Vantage S and DB12 S are coming .. I know we saw the testing of the DB12 S potentially. Just saw on Insta and there is a post flashing tomorrows date

One of the buzzwords on the teaser was 'Sharpen' so i'm guessing it'll be the DB12S given we've seen it testing and the Vantage was only released recently.

Found this online... "Aston Martin is all set to reveal a new version of the DB12 grand tourer on July 9. It is expected to be a sharper and sportier version, possibly called the DB12 S or DB12 AMR.

There are no official details of the new DB12 S yet, but according to our sources, it will be lighter and more powerful than the standard model. We’ve been told that the DB12 S will be as much as 50 kg lighter and will have around 20 hp more.

The DB12 S is also expected to feature a new exhaust system with vertically stacked quad exhaust tips at the back. It will also feature a revised suspension setup for sharper and precise handling"

Contradicting stories. Two dealers I have spoken to says it’s the Vantage and one person I know, who knows someone at the factory, says it’s a DB12

"The 2026 Vantage S now produces 670 horsepower at 6000 rpm—giving it a 14-hp advantage over the standard car. Despite the bump in horsepower, the S retains the regular Vantage's 590-pound-foot torque maximum, and just like the standard Vantage, the long hood at the front of the car houses an AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that sends power exclusively to the rear wheels...The changes don't stop there. Aston Martin's engineers reworked the throttle pedal weight and response to better fit their idea of what an "S" car should feel like. There's new suspension hardware too, along with softer transmission mounting points and a retuned chassis intended to improve driver engagement. New camber, toe, and caster settings are said to create a sharper and more responsive front end under high lateral loads. The rear subframe is now mounted directly to the body, instead of rubber bushings as before."

I think they were talking about DB12. The new “S” version is likely to have a similar exhaust set up to the recently released DBX S. That’s how the mule looked anyway. BRM.

Only the S Version of DB12 get a new rear layout. Vantage S become some carbon parts on hood and the dual ducktail. Ahh and dont forget the S badges on the fenders.

The DB12 S will be 50 kg lighter than the standard model and is expected to have around 20 hp more. It will get a new exhaust system with vertically stacked quad tips, similar to the one on the DBX S. The suspension will also be tuned for a more sporty ride.

This is the DB12 S mule. Articlelink

They look ok on the tall DBX S but even an S DB12 needs to retain a certain suave GT look to it.

As for the Vantage S it seems that every area has had a thorough going over to home the alertness and responsiveness - this should make for some interesting comparisons to the 911 now.

It would be very interesting to know if they have installed the Turbo Boost Box from the new Vanquish for better throttle response.

Ah, two each side

Not four in a line vertically !

Come to think about it, that would be daft.
