I was out on a frozen multi-drop run yesterday for a certain large supermarket with their shortest urban trailer, delivering the usual crap to the masses (chips, pizza, ice cream) and was passed by a recovery truck complete with A110 on the bed, at Cabot Circus, just after 9pm.

Anyone on here ? It was an Atelier blue special (possibly Normandie Blue ?) with a rear wing, 73 plate. I couldn't see any damage, so perhaps it had succumbed to a bout of man flu ? I followed it down the Eastville exit slip of the M32, I went left, it went right towards Fishponds, which is one of the deeply unpleasant areas of Bristol, and there are a lot frown

Not the most exciting event of the trip though. Coming down the Filton exit slip of the M5 @ 4pm and the Five 'O' had just T-packed an Audi A4, using two A6 Avants (Avon & Somerset weapon of choice), A VW Toureag and an unmarked XC90.

They had 2 blokes out of the car and a suspicious looking bag on the roof. 'Salty looking dudes' as Inspector Harry Callahan would say.

Are you the chap that posts on Instagram driving a Class 1 with a camera attached to his head.

The reversing into tight spots with cars parked badly all around is impressive.

Is it surgically attached to his headdriving

Not me alas. I have dashcams in both car and truck. Caught a bloke on his phone on the same trip, you could even see the USB cable coming out of it, so he'll be getting a brown envelope in the post any day.

Seen a few of these HGV warriors on YTube. There are some real tits, like the one who didn't know how high his trailer was as he approached a railway bridge and just decided to chance it.
