I am posting this in General Gassing to hopefully reach the most people on the website.

At the British Grand Prix, a man stole the steering wheel from the Leyton House Historic F1 car on display for the general public to enjoy.

A lower quality image was posted at the time, these are now much better images of the suspect the police would like to interview.

If you know this person, please contact the Northamptonshire Police or post the information here and i will forward it to the appropriate people.

police said:
Northamptonshire Police has released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following the theft of a steering wheel from a classic Formula 1 car.
The incident happened at about 2.30pm on Friday, July 4, when the steering wheel was removed from a vehicle that was on display at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone in South Northamptonshire.
The man in the image could assist police with their enquiries so he, or anyone who recognises him, is asked call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
Please quote incident number 25000390674 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.

Someone like that is bound to have their mug all over the socials so I hope you find them and they can assist with the accidental pocketing of a steering wheel. It's an easy mistake for anyone to make.
