I have read previously that VW group have released information regards changes to the intervals on timing belts, and that this is now done purely on mileage as opposed to time.

Current owner of a 2019 SEAT LEON TSI EVO FR, 1.4 PETROL.

Had it nearly a year, 50k miles on the clock now. What is the new guidance regarding timing belt changes for this engine type?

Thank you!

I think that might be one of the ones they call belt for life.

Most intervals are now 140k. I normally suggest 10 years as a sensible max.
