Faro hotels

Recommendations for decent, ie good hotels/resorts down Faro or Lagos way pls folks? We don’t play golf, so I don’t care about the standard of the golf courses, but do care about the standard of the resort. No, don’t want any villas or self catering, I’m on holiday so some other fker can cook for me. No kids involved.

Depends on the budget, we love the Conrad Algarve, there are plenty of golfists, but you can relax by the pool, or they have a regular minibus to take you to the beach, on an evening Gusto restaurant is amazing.
Also just across the road is a kind of shopping area with various restaurants and bars there should you fancy.
