Hi
I'm looking at buying a 2019 Audi A6. Car is showing on DVLA with limited information, but its there.
Chassis number, Engine number and all other data is correct.
On 3 car history check sites, including the one the retailers use, MOT, mileage, scarp, plates and other all searches come out as good. On RAC history check (only) car is showing as an Import. Registration mileage early 2020 shows car registered in Sheffield area with 30 miles on the clock.
When putting car reg info into Balckcircles, Confuse.Com, Towone or similar websites the car either cannot be found or the information is limited.
Can anyone explain this?

If something smells fishy, it could be fishy. It's not as though it's an unusual car - why bother getting involved? There's loads of these about. Ignore and find another.

Yes. I can explain this…

For some reason, it’s not been manifested correctly on the Cargo Bill when it’s been shipped from Neckarsulm to the UK. Someone on nights, doing customs clearance as ticked the box marked import, incorrectly. It’s obviously been picked-up by the supplying / original franchisee upon registering new and they’ve sorted it Swansea. If the DVLA are happy with it, go with it. If you’re not, walk away from the vehicle.

Try a carvertical check? It's supposed to check abroad too. Do you have the VIN?
