Just wondering if anyone has any experience with solar powered fans for lofts/shed? Would like to get something simple but not completely crap to fit in a shed wall/window to try and keep it a little cooler by creating some air movement and ventilation.
Have googled solar shed fan but mainly just get Amazon adverts.

I have one on my boat.
It is better than nothing, but that's all you can say for it.
Looks like this but doesn't have a battery in it:

It's quite noisy due to bearing wear, so gets covered up sometimes!

Thanks for the reply, that’s sort of what I was thinking when looking at what comes up when googled, nothing looks like it will do much without spending loads on an industrial type system.
Was thinking something like this
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FB8WW9NC/ref=sspa_mw_d...

But thought I would ask here as usually get some good info and ideas.

I was thinking of using a 12V computer fan.
I have solar panels on the boat to charge the batteries anyway, so it would be a matter of rigging the fan to use any spare power once the batteries were fairly well charged.

I did this a couple of years ago. I strapped 4x 4" fans together and ran them off a 12v supply.

They are amazingly effective, and silent too.

No reason why they couldn't be powered from a solar panel - could even wire them in series / parallel in order to run them off 24v.
