Should I fit a threshold drain?
Discussion
I need to repair some loose slabs/etc my patio anyway and am wondering if I should be fitting a threshold drain under this garage side door?

The original builder ran one across the front garage door, you can see the end of it on the right hand side of the picture
As the paving slabs are uneven there is always a bit of water pooling, the brickwork under the door seems to soak up a bit when it rains a lot, but there are no obvious damp problems inside the garage. It was built in 2015.

A drain across a main garage door is often a good idea, because any water pooling there can run into the garage.
That won't happen with your side door.
You could put a drain there if you like, it could be a good idea if the patio slopes that way.
If I was re-laying a patio, I'd be thinking about the drainage and run-off, such that it's easy to clean the patio without any chemical you've used or excessive water running onto lawns or planted areas.
As the drain channel is there, it should be easy to extend it around the corner of the garage? Maybe even arrange to drain the whole patio into it?
