Cheapest/Best Porsche 944 Garage (London)

Bit of an oximoron to start with... I understand that "cheapest" and "best" don't usually make the best bed fellows.

I have sourced a beautiful 944 T Cab which I am picking up over the weekend. I can't wait.

However, I want to keep it in top nick and cure a few blemishes on the body work. Nothing major, just a scratch on a mirror from reversing and some stone chips.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a decent garage for 944's without remortgaging?

I have used RGA in Vauxhall for a couple of years, for my old 944 and now for my 993. I think they are great, but not cheap. Which is not to say they are expensive, but hopefully you see what I mean.

GT1 -Chertsey 01932 569911/944. Ask for Craig or Peter -mention my name.

They are minutes from Chertsey mainline station, 45 mins from Waterloo.

They can do the mechanicals and there is body shop, Moto-Marque, just down the road.

I'd definitely give RGA a try then, they are just at the edge of the CC zone, in the railway arches at Vauxhall, and (for me) there's a handy bus that either takes me home or to work (City). Conveniently it also works going the other way ...

You could try Charles Ivey Specialist Cars in Fulham, which is where I take my 944. Speak to Mark on 020 7731 3612. They're very good but not necessarily that cheap........
