Cobra Alarm Touch Key Programming

I have a 1988 350i with a factory fit Cobra alarm. I have just bought a new touch key for it and now need to program it. There is a document on the Cobra web site showing how to do this for all their compatible alarms but I don't know what model mine is.
Anyone know what it is most likely to be?
Also I think the unit is stuffed into the centre console just behind the floor heater duct on the drivers side. Does that sound about right?
