Hi, yes the previous owner ( the 2nd) did his own maintenance after a while. I have since changed all spark plugs, and leads and had it checked over by the garage that did the MOT. The oil should probably be replaced now. New exhaust was put on from centre section back to twin boxes. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks for asking.

Yes when the oil and filter was last changed is an important factor as well as the gearbox oil.

Hi, last owner who had for over 20 years was an engineer. And really took care of this. If it turns out he hasnt done lately I can have it serviced it before handover to a new owner. I will check re the gearbox service. Hope this helps. Thanks simon

Hi. I think I can see the tow neck in the boot, but please would you confirm all parts are there, and that the towing electrics work? Do all the electrics work, including the air conditioning, sun roof and electric memory seats. Thanks

Hi apologies, this question ended up in my spam. To answer; you’re quite correct that the tow neck is there as are the electrics. I’ve not actually towed with it and I can’t see why it wouldn’t all work if you hitched it to a trailer.

There are no warnings lights and yes the seats, sunroof and memory options all work. I’ve started the engine this morning in the garage to check the air con and it felt cold.

Hope that helps, it really is a beautiful P38.

best simon

Simon I like your vehicle very much. It looks wonderfully cared for.
My concern is the suspension. Do you have any current info ?

Hi, no problem with suspension. Thanks for asking and youre quite right that the suspension set up can be the achilies heel of Range Rovers.

I had it checked over by my mechanic when it went for its mot. They said it was all good. As in the ad in 2016 it was fitted with new air suspension springs and dryer assembly and works spot on and drops to lower position when on the motorway as it should.

Many thanks
