High spec 320i F30 vs G20 Low Spec
Discussion
Hi all,
Currently after a more practical car coming from a Z4 E89.
My budget £15k-£17k can afford me a highly spec 320i F30 LCI with all the bells and whistles and low mileage. However the budget as Ive seen recently can also get me into a higher mileage (60k-70k) G20 320i.
I do like the look of the newer bmw ( I know most say the opposite) however I think the most I would get for my budget is an M sport model at a push as most Ive seen are either SE or sport (cloth seats).
Any thoughts/opinions

I had a curtesy 23 plate 320i ,I did not like it at all ,was so glad to get back into my F30 2018 335d far too much digital smartphone tech to deal with ,the horrible suspension AND the "driver aids" My F30 is just so much easier to drive, feels part of me that curtesy car was just clinical and they want over £40k for one ,ridiculous.
The G20 is a different league of car compared to the F30, which by comparison is more akin to the F20 generation of car quality wise - the G20 is not too dissimilar from a G30 in terms of quality.
I’ve owned 2x F30s and a G20. I’d pick the G20 every time regardless of the spec, because it’s just a better car with a lot of equipment as standard for the M Sport.
