Received insurance renewal quote for the car of Mrs H. Last yr £245 this yr £179.

Result, hoping the others come in at a similar reduction.

Done both of ours in recent weeks:

X5 has gone from £2650 last year to £1595 this year
M135i has gone from £935 last year to £595 this year

An improvement but still obscene for the 9k combined miles we do.

Did mine last month - £145 down to £109. Not bad for a turbo-charged convertible. One of the benefits of being older i guess

‘Auto Sergei’ emailed me quotes from meerkat and my existing insurers have also sent renewal invitations

All lower than last year and existing insurers near as dammit as low as the new quotes so for the first time in years I’ll let them auto renew.

Mine went up by about £12.00, but is still only about £278 for a Mercedes E350 estate, so I am happy with that.

More good news.

Merc CLK last year £262, this yr £120

Less than 1/2, proper result.
