X308 XJR oil cooler.

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket oil cooler?
The metal-rubber-metal oil lines on my car aren't looking too healthy, the rubber is starting to split. Unfortunately the lines are NLA.
So as I work in a hydraulics workshop, I thought I'd cut the rubber section out, and have some JIC fittings welded onto the metal sections and make a couple of hoses with AN fittings that match the 37° JIC flare.
However, scrolling through the Swallows website I came across some very neat sump fittings already turned up with AN -10 fittings. Perfect!
Then I thought I may as well swap the cooler while I'm at it, and do away with the second metal pipe, and run the hoses directly to an aftermarket cooler.
I live in Spain so it gets a bit warm here, a slightly better cooler can't hurt.
Anyone done it already?
