Back in 2018 I bought a complete clutch kit for my 2008 4.3 soortshift Vantage, including the flywheel, release bearing, gaskets, bolts and pump for the total of around 2800 pounds including vat.

Yesterday out of curiosity, I checked the price of the same items and they were over 5800 pounds. Not sure if they are even the complete kit.

Yes I know inflation is a real thing but this is way too much for consumables. I'm seriously are driving my Aston less because I refuse to accept these costs.

me too I am driving less, no more speed, or stupidity and i will even wait longer to warm up the engine, its like this.
since i took a taxi 12 hours indeed to renew my pasport, i realised how dificult it is to drive at 120 km and i wnat try it now, i prefer dificult things, its so much easier to drive at 150-160 without worrying, but it has changed for me.

You are now making me grateful that my clutch failed several years ago, at only 15,000 miles.
That was an opportunity for a twin plate clutch, which should last much longer.

Just had my car serviced by them, perhaps their eBay store is to ship outside of UK. But am sure if you rang them up they would sell you what you need, they even have a parts website amwparts.com

I m sorry, so with parts at that level, plus labour (long job) , it s going to be around £7-8k for a clutch change these days ??

Edit to add, a twin plate kit and lighter flywheel half the price here:

Works prices are comically insane
