Looking at a new small urban car with occasional trips just outside M25 so test drove one a couple of weeks ago (just after an i3S - still very impressive) and as a paying customer not on one of the employee scams could not justify the extra several grand over almost all its opposition - still testing - maybe try a T03 next
We've had an Inster since May and really like it. Nice amount of proper buttons and amazing rear interior space for a sub 4m car if you get the sliding rear bench in the 02 model.
I would agree it is expensive but I see dealers are already offering good discounts and with the new EV grant will make it cheaper still. I think it will live in the shadow of the Renault 5 as I've only seen one other on the road. The looks are a bit divisive but my wife had her heart set on a Jimny and its pretty close if you take off your glasses.

Yeah, we have an i3S at the moment so this is a concern. That being said we've had a Leaf in the past and that wasn't exactly fast.Big Nanas said:

It feels pretty nippy even if the actual 0-60 is 10s. I don't think I'd crave for any more speed in a shopping car really.Hi Andy 
Bouncing this - potentially looking at replacing the Up; really want a Honda E, but struggling to justify a 5 year old EV for £14-£15k when (with discounts) these are now looking more reasonably priced with warranty, longer range - the 02 model is already <£20k with barely any miles on it.
Yes, it's not as funky as the R5 but I'm not a great fan of French cars, and the extra practicality of this is a boon as it'll just be a commuting workhorse alongside the second car.
Anyone else take the plunge?

Totally missed this Matt, great to hear from you! We really considered it, but there were just a couple of niggles we (well, I) didn't like. 1. It's too narrow like an Ignis, so while I like the looks, on the road it looks a bit too Doris. It's a shame as if its track was a bit wider it would be a South Korean Yeti style car. 2. It did not feel zippy enough for my liking. In the end we stuck with keeping the i3S for a bit longer.
Edit, we ordered another ID.3 as the long term second car, the one I had was excellent despite the kicking it got on launch and we kind of missed it after it went.
