Hello,
I would like to ask if you have the technical documentation of the motor. As it is not the original motor from Volkswagen, it may be difficult to homologate the car in other countries like for example Germany.

Hi

The engine is the original block that was rebuilt and upgraded to 1760cc. This was done at the time of the refurb and convertion from combi to campee. So the engine numbers match the vehical when built in Brazil in 1963.

Can you provide more technical detail regarding the brakes. Are they disc conversion, single, dual circuit, etc. Original reduction boxes or gearbox

Hi
Thanks for your interest.... The breaks are all original drum as I wanted to kerp it as original as possible. They do have ceramic coated shoes though. Not sure about the gear box technicaly but it has not been changed from the original.
I trust this answeres your questions.

Hello, would you be willing to take one last road trip with the VW bus? I'd also offer an additional 1000 GBP in cash if we could meet at the Swiss border, close to Basel (BSL airport). You'd only need to pick up the export documents at customs in England beforehand. What do you think?

Hi Gody

This is Dave from PistonHeads, just replying on the sellers behalf.

That is a great question, and I am sure the drive back home would be an amazing one. Should you win the bidding, it would be a case of either coming to the UK to collect the camper and to complete and import documents that would be required, or arranging transport and paperwork to have the vehicle exported back to your home town.

Best of luck with your bidding

Kind Regards
Dave
