Drive upload issue

Have an Android phone, having issues with a CV saved on drive in .doc, numerous job websites won't accept the upload, no info given, any ideas?

Have you tried saving it as a .pdf and up,leading in that format?

Still doesn't want to know, permissions maybe, file is in my drive, never works, might have to save it onto phone , cloud st never seems to work for me
