Maserati Shamal
Discussion
I know anything "Biturbo" based normally gets a bad press, but I've suddenly found a liking for the Shamal (I remember thinking it was an ugly carbuncle when it was launched....which it probably was!!).
Certainly it's not pretty, but at least it gained the agression the standard Biturbo lacked. And at least this one packed a V8 :)

Quite so TT - Biturbo, the cars Ferrari themselves would prefer we forgot about! However, the Shamal's engine WAS of course the base for the more recent 3200GT. The Shamal goes like stink although IIRC traction is a bit of problem. A few years back, I considered buying one until James of Moda Cars offered me a deal on a rare Ghibli I could not refuse.
I think the Shamal was and is a nice looking car. Very dated now, and maybe a little dated in the 90's when it was lauched but it's styling is period with all the add ons etc that were common 'back in the day.'
The small spoiler at the rear edge of the bonnet directs airflow in such a fashion that you don't need to use the wipers in the rain at speed? Or am I making that up?
