Jack/Pad Recommendations?
Discussion
Hi All,
Want to fit Life110 pads to my Alpine, for which I'll need to buy a jack and pads. Do we have any specific recommendations before I go out and get the wrong trolley jack? And specific pad recommendations?
Don't mind spending what it takes, but budget definitely doesn't extend to fancy scissor lifts or similar.
TIA

I bought a...
Clarke CTJ1250AC 1.25 Tonne Aluminium Trolley Jack
...and it works brilliantly - low enough to easily fit under my lowered Alpine. I bought a Renault style specific jack pad as well but I've never used it because the jack's own pad is soft and wide enough (imo) to support the car without damaging the jacking point. Plus I feel it would be more stable without (again imo).
No problems so far - great for adjusting the dampers in 5 mins flat.
