Car was serviced Friday, idrive updated with the service record and timers reset.

Today it bonged that the service was due so drove it back there. Only there at the specialist did I realise that the date is correct but the mileage says due in 1300 for both oil and service.

He reset it again and it has gone green but still says 1300 miles for oil and 2600 now for service.

1300 miles was roughly what it said when I took it in, it was early.

He said he has never seen this before. Any ideas ? He uses the tool all day every day.

Have you tried resetting it yourself?

You can do it quite easily by going into diagnostics mode (press start stop 3 times without foot on brake) and then holding the BC button to cycle through the menu.

Yes it was possible to reset the oil but not service , now since he reset again neither are possible to reset.

Have you done it via the dash? Or using Bimmercode/Carly et al? Sometimes when they go overdue they need a little help to reset.

Specialist did this. It says no longer possible in the car cluster in diag mode.

It was early rather than overdue but happened to be 1300 miles early and that's what it says now. Not sure of coincidence have done at least 100 miles since

Okay, makes sense. BMW also won't allow you to reset the oil change until a certain number of litres of fuel have been consumed. I know it's the case on older models, I'd imagine it's there on the newer ones, too.
