2004 BMW M3 Convertible (E46) SMG
Discussion
Hi, during the recent Inspection 1 service, the technician noted some slight corrosion starting to show on the boot floor panel. While the subframe itself wasn't in a bad condition at all, I decided to have the work carried out proactively to prevent any future issues and preserve the structural integrity of the car.
It made sense to get ahead of it before it developed into anything more serious, so it was definitely a preventative measure rather than a repair job due to existing damage.
Hope that clears things up, but let me know if you have any further questions.
Happy bidding.
