I’m looking to get back into reading. I’ll read anything really. I’m looking for books that are interesting but also challenge your way of thinking.

Mainly fact. But I’m not fussed.

For non fiction I tend to find I enjoy books that are on quite obscure subjects that I didnt previously know anything about.

Two recent ones ive recently enjoyed. One was called Imperial Mud which was a brief history of those living in the fens on common land before it was carved up into private ownership and drained which almost led to a civil war. The other was called Estuary and was about the Thames estuary - each chapter was a different story of a person or aspect of history. Some of it was fascinating.

Both were quite easy to read and not too dry or heavy going.
