Quick to name the suspect as well?

Not sure they’re suggesting that their man has murdered them all? Reads as they were looking for a specific victim and found his remains, and then discovered a load more besides. As you say, grim!

That’s true. Bit of a coincidence though that he dumped a body next to others?

Also saying they don’t how long some have been there. I couldn’t be a copper thats for sure, having to deal with situations like that.

They haven't named a suspect for the other bodies as I read it, they've charged him with the murder of the missing man.

Would be pretty unlucky to have accidentally dumped your one and only murder victim at someone else's multi-murder dump site and got the blame for the lot, though...

Devon and Cornwall police refuted the claims.

Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft said: 'We currently have three separate murder investigations being conducted in the Cornwall area.

'I have oversight of all of these investigations at this time, and can confirm they are being carried out independently of each other and are not believed to be linked.

'I can categorically state that we have recovered remains believed to be those of Daniel Coleman only from an area of woodland in Sticker. No other remains have been located at this scene to date.'

It's completely false:

"But Devon and Cornwall police refuted the claims.

Don't forget that until very recently Devon&Cornwall Police were paying three chief constables salaries.

I was following this story and found it a bit far fetched.
This Police Commissioner seems to be a bit of a fantasist. She stated that
"The police have operational primacy over these matters. Any investigation will unfold rapidly and I was not in possession of all the facts at that time."

That sounds one of the lamest non apology apologies I have read in recent months.
