Nice pics. I would like to get there next year, is it a tough climb up the hill?
Fair plays to Matt Jones for giving it a good go, while being completely out of his comfort zone!
And crashing twice on his race run!
And well done for Louise for being the first women to complete a full run!
But the top 3 really were top level.
I was sure Ronan was going to take it, then Hatton obliterated his time by several seconds!
Then Asa took another couple of seconds off it!

There are parts of the gill that are very steep and slippery (I believe it used to be the old course), use some good walking boots and take your time and you'll be OK.
An awesome day, not just the race but walking round the pits and the whole atmosphere.
I done a fair bit of mountain biking, but this event is pretty much a completely different sport.

Its only about 200m from the car park to the highest spectating point and for most people, it'll be fine. I'm in my early 60s and I was blowing a bit on a couple of sections, but I took my time and got there eventually. Didn't help that it was really humid in the morning - I could see my breath despite it being about 15+ degrees.The steepest bits are through woods and without any formal track, so it was really slippery in places, especially after several hundred other people had walked / clambered up there. Take walking boots with LOTS of grip...
Brilliant event. Think it was harsh on Bernard K that he crashed in qualifying.
He takes some stick but I personally agree with his points on line transparency, and the nature of the event.
It was evident in hardline it was different to normal racing and a bunch of keyboard warriors who know little about the sport start calling him out. The guy has done a lot over the years and for unknowns to make out they have the inside line on him is a bit pathetic.

I was down at the finish line when Louise came through. One of the biggest roars from the crowd on the last jump, everyone went mad for her !
