Lowering a 2018 Vanquish S
Discussion
Hi All,
Anyone know if a Vanquosh S can be lowered on the stock suspension?
Bamford Rose said it can be lowered 15mm but grok and chatgpt says no and suggests the velocity ap springs.
If I can lower it on the stock setup that would be prefwrred as I want to keep my warranty in full effect.
Thanks for the help.

To lower the Bilstein damper springs you will need to remove them from the car, remove the spring and put them in a lathe and machine a new groove for the split ring that secures the lower spring platform.
That will lower the car, but not sure how low you can go.
Personally I wouldn't touch them, the suspension has been tuned from factory to be optimal.

I see. I dont want to modify the existing springs. I was hoping the car could just be lowered a little with a few turns of the coilovers. Thats out. That will lower the car, but not sure how low you can go.

So I will go for velocity ap springs or just leave it stock.
Thanks for your help
If Grok and/or ChatGPT tell you something then they can safely be ignored. I don't know why anyone would take anything a glorified autocomplete says seriously - it doesn't understand your question and supplies what it thinks that you statistically most likely want to see.
I suggest you talk to an actual engineering company
