My order was delivered with the wrong parts 3 times. The description in the Autodoc catalogue was totally wrong, it did not come with the parts it was advertised with.
And now I have got try ang get a refund, dealing with their customer services is a nightmare, you as the customer are the one who has got it wrong, even though the catalogue you ordered the item from has the wrong description.

I don't use them anymore as I've had so many issues. I've found it's best to ALWAYS use the chat feature and have the cars VIN to verify the parts against the car. The main reason is so if a mistake is made it's clear that they confirmed the fitment. It's often been wrong in the catalogue.

Ordered twice in the last 6 months,

Issues are different to yours as mu both came damaged.

- 1st Package Oil filter had broken plastic clips on the end which were required for the filter.
- 2nd Package brake pads with a wear sensor which came with the wire broken at the pad end.

1st item I can say was potentially during transit but the second couldnt have been. Since then I dont bother as I normally need parts over a weekend and if they turn up wrong im scrabbling around local motor factors to get the right part anyway.

Used them twice, received parts that didn't fit twice, and failed to get a refund twice.
Never again.

I ordered a Varta battery from them. It arrived and worked. I don't think I've ordered anything else from them.

Have had similar with Halfords in the past, looking stupid as I stand outside the shop wondering why the part I'd just click/collected doesn't fit.

No apologies if this seems preachy, or you're already converted, but I heard this quote in my early 20s and have recalled it and lived by it ever since. It never hurts to revisit wise words, especially when they are proven so true, time after time:

“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When
you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay
too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you
bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The
common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a
lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well
to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will
have enough to pay for something better
.”

I have used them quite a bit....

Their customer service is pretty poor...

I recon around 20% of what I order is incorrect/broken/not as described.. BUT.... even with wastage its still a lot cheaper than my local motor factors....

I ordered some parts from them, making sure to choose the premium made-in-Germany brand. They sent me Chinesium parts, which promptly got sent back.

Never dealt with them again as they are obviously out to scam you at every turn.

Discussed in another thread somewhere, I just use Ebay these days but look for half tidy branded from somewhere like car parts in motion.
Autodoc don`t seem to be that cheap anymore as well.

Used Autodoc once, never again.

I almost always also use "parts in motion" ebay store, they are either the cheapest or within coppers of being so, stock a range of options and deliver unbelievably quickly, once managing under 24 hours to the door.

They sent me an a/c condenser based on the reg look up which had mounting points miles off.

It's way back in 2020 just before Covid. I bought Monroe HD Shocks, Kilien(?) springs and Monroe Topmounts for the front of my Honda CRV.
Price was stonking, parts decent, delivery maybe 12 days.

So in my limited experience I was quite happy
