Hi All,

Have just ordered the Passat Plug In Hybrid. Attracted by the 204BHP and the 80 Mile acclaimed range.

Thought I would make a thread in case anybody else has jumped on this.

Excited to get mine, should be here in October or early November.

Has anybody got this vehicle? User Experiences?

I have also struggled to find a link to things such as mats, boot protectors, roof boxes etc.

Nice! I ordered mine early Aug, hopefully should come for Oct. I got the same model as you (eHybrid 204ps) and got the R-line trim. Looking forward to lots of e-driving!

Ordered mine.

Hoping to delay for a December delivery, this was promised via email - then the sales guys out of office says he has left the business.

I might struggle now. See what happens. Really looking forward to it.

I have seen the same car is £600 plus now a month!

Although I cannot comment on the Passat, I have got the same drive train in a 2025 Tiguan.

Must say I love it... First Plug-in Hybrid for me, works very, very well. I'm currently 550 miles into ownership, and of this, the petrol engine has only come in twice, when on longer runs, of over 70+ Miles.

It will happily charge 50% on an overnight (cheap rate electric for me), which you can specify within the vehicle charging section - this is running on a reduced AC current (again set within the car) to help with the home current flow through the standard 3 pin charger.

So far have managed 80 Miles on a single charge (45 Miles M1, running around town, then back up the M1 again). Whilst electric only is a little slow, feels like a 110BHP car, I'll trade that for the smooooooth and quietness of the vehicle. Immediate pull away, compared to the dropping of an automated clutch, makes it feel a little more urgent off the line.

You'll love it...

I am coming from full electric Audi Etron to this, so have a charger at home so should do 0 to 100% overnight.

I am just sweating on my current car going back in December and being promised I can delay delivery until December by lease company then them being a little unsure and now the sales guy having left the business.

There was nothing else with this spec on the market at the time, hence hitting the button don't want two car overlap for too long.

Will be no issue at all. As long as you turn off the option to reduce AC charge current (took me a while to work that one out - in the menus) - it will then charge at full 7kw, from empty to full in prob 4-5 hours daily. You can also set a home charging location to remember your preferred times/settings/charge rates, etc..

Cheers good to know re charging.

I have my charger set up to only charge overnight as well.

Can you activate the AirCon remotely with VW? I find that handy in winter to defrost Audi.

Yup, You can do all of this within the app. I would suggest getting the app configured first, as I configured the car, then downloaded the app a week later (to see what I was missing)..?? Then was playing with the app, and found it deleted all of the functions I had set on the car. Some you can set through the car, others through the app. I've not actually configured the steering wheel & Seat to come on yet, as just found a 'left/right' individual controls within the app, which relates to personal settings. But yes, you can heat the car I think for up to 30 mins before departure. IT did this morning, as it was a little chilly...
