Please, Near Bexley/Sidcup

I'm in need of a job doing under sink and getting to old to be on my knees for to long, plus I hate plumbing.

I have tried to get one in for a previous job but he never turned up despite giving a quote and a time he'd arrive.

Cheers
Dave

Good look.

We get magazines delivered by the postman either Tito or HD connect

Plumbers, there 6 who advertise doing small jobs, all go to answerphone, 3 didn't even reply, 2 said 'we're always close by you, will call in, neither did, last one, semi retired, took almost 3 hours to fit a kitchen tap, with 2 trips to the merchant for parts. 1 hour to fit the tap, the rest of time to stop the leaks he'd created.

Sorry to hear all that as it sounds all too familiar.

What is it with some of these Trades people.

Is it to hard too say if it's too small a job or you're to busy?

He might not go quite that far but Lee at https://surreyplumbingsolutions.co.uk/ is a genuinely good guy.

He’s fair on price and will do what he says he’ll do at the time he says he will do it.

Sorry frown

I thought it was amusing. Your spelling is fine in your post.

In my experience there is no such thing as a reliable one…….if there is I’ve yet to find one…. And judging by the number of people who have asked if i do they cant find one either. I just do any myself now.

My wife now works for a plumbing company so things might be looking up.

Seems some of these guys/girls don't get just how stressing it is to find someone you can trust to work with you to fix issues in and around your home.

I have worked in maintenance but finding some jobs are getting beyond my level both in terms of knowledge and personal fitness so now have to rely on others.

So
After much looking into his reviews I've found a chap and his son who sound very good, yes I know, they are four generations into the game.
Sounded good on the phone so we'll see, due Weds as I'm busy tomorrow.

If he's any good I'll be asking him about other plumbing jobs that would be good to get sorted and recommend him to others so it could turn into a nice little earner for him.

Will update.

P.S After many years of searching I've finally got a very reliable Electrician.

Update:

I now have a reliable Plumber.

Chap came when he said he would, did the job with no fuss or issues and at a reasonable price. Apx hour to re work pipework under sink to include two new stopcocks, £140 all in.

Restored my faith somewhat, and he does roofing and general building. biggrin
