Recommended workshops in the north west?

Hi all

I'm trying to find some recommended workshops in the northwest, primarily ones with experience in high performance Japanese. I'm in Preston.

I've moved recently, and looking for somewhere closer for basic suspension work(control arm replacement and refurb on a 1994 supra), and I'd like to find a performance shop that can do some pre-sale work on the car. I've found Nissan focused places, Honda focused places, but not much else. I just need an all round specialist performance workshop or similar.

Anyone got any suggestions?

It might be worth trying Jasmine Motorsport - specialise in Porsche but have had Ferrari, Aston Martin and Jaguars in there regularly. Not expensive either. Jonny Higham on 01282 697171. Good luck

Stevie at Grinspeed in Leyland is all you need. Deals will all kinds of rare and interesting stuff especially jap stuff as well as your usual. Check out his FB see what kind of things he has in.
I think he’s on holiday this week though.

try phoning Brian at CAMS in Darwin,looks after a lot of Subarus but works on most Japanese performance cars

I can vouch for Brian as well he looked after my old Impreza a good few years ago.

Phoenix Motorsport in Accrington. Ollie is a Lotus specialist but works on a wide range of sports & racing/track cars. His geo setup and suspension mods on my Elise were a revelation.

I’ve been a customer for years and wouldn’t let anyone else work on my cars.
