Had to sell my car, gutted.

But onwards and upwards. I have items that I fitted to the car that I have removed, having replaced the originals.

I can't find a parts for sale on PH and I'm concerned that stuck on eBay, they'll won't find the customers that'll want them.

Any advice, cheers.

There is a parts and plates forum on PH for selling stuff.

Is anyone going to complain if they happen to get mentioned in this forum? Seems the most obvious place given how specific the audience is...

If I post ads on the marketplace, can I at least mention that they are live on here, with no direct link?

I reckon that would probably be OK, but clearly it's open to interpretation by the moderation team. smile

@ croyde. Sorry to hear you needed to sell your car.

I have a question totally off topic.

Obviously I have an A110, & I would really like to change it in some way. What might be some of the things you did to your car that you had to remove recently? Perhaps they are things that I would like to do to mine.

It would be helpful to me if you were to list them with an indicative price on what they might be worth to buy 2nd hand, should I ever happen to come across a place to buy such things....

I didn't do much. I added the Life 110 paddles which are far longer than the oem ones (first seen as far back as a 2013 Clio RS)

Helps so much more especially in turns. Feel nicer and in a better position to the steering wheel.

Around £260 when new.

The Life 110 foam oiled air filter, which there was a thread about. About £70 new.

You can feel a bit more oomph when driving and you can hear the intake noise when accelerating. Sounds gorgeous.

And the first thing I added to my car was the bespoke phone holder, one of only 35 made. Version 1, designed and built by one of our own A110 owners here on PH.

Fits in with the look of the Alpine, was £100 when new.

I was going to have the Geo done, but didn't get round to it.

I swapped the black screws that hold the engine cover down for Life 110 silver quick release D Clips. Lifts the look of the cover area under the glass. These I left on the car.

I'm gutted that the car has gone but sadly I needed the cash. I'm now carless for the first time since I was 17, 45 years ago.
