How do they make the turbo compressor wheel?

I’m fitting a new turbo cartridge. But look at this! How on earth is it made? The flutes at the base obviously look like cnc machine but can that really make this intricate item with curved vanes? Seems impossible, and they’re so smooth

Generally they're made with lost-wax casting, although there may well be grinding and/or polishing to obtain the finished shape.
