The Beatles Abbey Road pedestrian crossing,

One of the most iconic album covers ever was the cover of the 1969 Beatles album Abbey Road.

The crossing was just outside Abbey Road studios which was owned by EMI.

Over the years, the famous crossing has been moved a few yards along the road.

However, this hasn't stopped hundreds of thousands of fans making the pilgrimage to see it from all corners of the globe.

There is a LIVE Earth cam set up, just outside which is on 24 hrs, if you watch it for long enough during the day, someone will mimic the fab four crossing, whilst their friend takes a photograph, which sometimes really winds up passing motorists that just want to get on their way.

I was in an Uber in Fort Worth, Texas, last month and the driver is visiting London in November. His No1 thing to do whilst he's be in London is walk across the Abbey Rd crossing.
