NOBLE OWNERS’ DAY – FRIDAY 28TH OCTOBER 2005
Noble Automotive is holding its third national owners’ day at Rockingham Motor Speedway on Friday, October 28th.
As always, the aim of this event is to bring together new and existing owners in a friendly environment at one of the UK’s most prestigious motor racing venues.
SOCIAL EVENT OR TRACK DAY, THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
As with previous Noble owners’ days we are keen to attract both those drivers who want to simply turn up and chat about their Noble, as well as those who fancy scorching around Rockingham’s National Circuit in their own cars.
For track drivers, an open pit lane will be operated throughout the day with a maximum of 20 cars on the circuit at any time (track passes will be limited to 60 cars on the day). Naturally, the circuit will be fully marshalled, with FIA-approved medical facilities available.
There will also be trained instructors at hand to provide one-to-one tuition for those drivers who want to exploit their full potential on the track. If you require this service, please let us know when you complete the booking form.
Please note that ALL track drivers and passengers must wear a helmet while out on the track. If you do not own one, helmets will be available to hire (see booking form).
It is also essential that ALL track drivers bring with them a copy of their UK driver’s licence to show at registration.
IN THE PADDOCK
Lee Noble and his team will be present to chat to you and answer any questions you might have about the company and its cars.
We expect there to be present all Noble models from the very earliest M10s to the current M12 GTO-3R and M400. Owners and enthusiasts will also be able to buy Noble-branded merchandise and view some of the accessories and upgrades we offer for our cars.
If you have any questions relating to sales, we will be inviting representatives from our dealer network to attend the event.
CATERING
Free bacon butties, tea and coffee will be served to everyone between 8.00 and 9.00am only. There will also be a hot buffet and drinks available during the lunch hour, which must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.
ITINERARY
8.00-9.00am: Reception, registration and briefing in Rockingham’s pit garage complex, where bacon butties, tea and coffee will be served. PLEASE NOTE! All track drivers must arrive by 8.30am to register.
9.00-9.30am: ‘Ducks and Drakes’ familiarisation session on circuit
9.30am: Circuit open to registered drivers (max. 20 cars at any one time)
12.30-1.30pm: Circuit closed for lunch. Hot buffet available in pit garages in exchange for pre-paid ticket
1.30-5.00pm: Circuit re-opens to registered drivers
5.30pm: Event finishes
BOOKING
Anyone attending, even if you’re not driving on the circuit, must complete the booking form, which can be found on our website homepage at www.noblecars.com, and return it to us by Thursday, October 27th.
Since this is a Noble-only event, you will need to make special arrangements with Simon Hucknall (simon.hucknall@noblecars.com) if you wish to bring any car, other than a Noble, into the paddock.

I am sitting here at Newcastle airport travelling on business, and cannot get on the Noble website.
I would like to attend and drive on the 28th. If I cannot get booked over the next 3 days, please put me down for a space, and I will complete the booking when I get back.

yep, used him a couple of times, pain in the arse to get him to return your calls, but at £50 worth the hassle. On LoT days it is £25!!
Spoke to him today and will confirm the premium tomorrow. As there have been a couple of claims recently. At least we know they pay out ok. I will let you know.

I renewed the insurance through Autotorque/Chaucer as it's cheaper. Here's my experience (apologies for being slightly off topic but TD insurance is what's on a lot of people minds):-
Although CCI include 4 "free" TD's CCI want £250 to £300 per track day thereafter.
Autotorque cover includes 2 "free" TD's and is £50 thereafter.
CCI answer calls promptly, Autotorque (Chris) doesn't.
Both companies have knowledgeable-enough staff to understand and therefore provide cover for modified cars, eg. with new IC, BoV, light weight wheels.
Like for like based on 4 TD's Autotorque was still cheaper and if you track the car more often it becomes a no brainer as to which to choose.
Although this is just my experience and as they say mileages varies, hopefully this is helpful to others.
My annual premium for the M400 as a second insured car was £1134 with a 10K mileage limit, garaged at night.
