Just spotted a couple whilst out walking the dogs in a local park around 10.30.

Think the moon was still too bright in the sky which didn't help things.

I saw one extremely bright one. Wondered what it was then remembered what time of year it is.

I saw this in a remote part of Southern Italy once, spectacular.

Too much cloud cover down south. In any case, we also have an almost full moon in the night sky so the more frequent smaller meteors are drowned out by moonlight. Not great observing conditions.

It's amazing isn't it? I assume they're all starlink, just about visible via the eye

Lovely clear night in North Yorks & saw a few including a blueish one.
Had a big surprise when a train of Starlink satellites headed due south - had no idea they did that!
Same satellites back again tonight so will be prepared!

We saw a few meteors this time. We'd seen far more in previous years, however the few we saw this season were far clearer and much more impressive.

We also spotted a large number of orbiting satellites, one every minute it seemed!
