Today the M25 anti clockwise is shut just north of the Dartford Tunnel following a lorry fire.
As I came round the other way just within the closed section there was a mobile crane on a low loader, and within the coned start of the closure a boat on a low loader which had an escort vehicle.
Am I correct in thinking load like that need a movement order and a set route? So in cases like this do they have to park up and wait? What happens if the driver runs out of hours waiting?
