Noticed the rear view mirror in my 992.1 Carrera T was vibrating a lot - went to adjust it and it was very loose. Turns out a whole new windscreen is needed. Bizarre.

It's fixable. No new windscreen required.

They changed the whole windscreen on mine too when I had the same issue (992.1 Carrera T also)

Me too.

Also 992.1 Carrera T. Whole windscreen (with new mirror attached) replaced under warranty last month.

They temporarily reattached my mirror in my 992.1T, but mine then had to have a whole new screen.

There was a broader recall by Porsche, issue with glass used for front and rear screens which weren’t properly prepared and required replacement as they didn’t bond in to the shell properly- the mirror falling off was a symptom. Check your had the recall done.

Same here. Known issue and a full replacement screen was fitted under warranty. No problem since.
