After a four and a half hour planning meeting Oufc finally got past the local planning for a new stadium at the triangle in Kidlington, not the final hurdle but over a big one.
Any away fan who has been to the sthole that is the kassam will probably be as glad as us Oufc fans that have had to endure the so called stadium and the ahole kassam for 25 years. Thanks for the comments on the planning portal from a variety of teams supporters for your efforts, a nice new sustainable stadium will hopefully await you from the 27/28 season

As an ex-resident of Oxford (but not OUFC fan), this is good news for the club and city and a much needed new stadium to look forward to.

As an accountant, I struggle to see how it happens when according to their most recent accounts the club booked a net loss of nearly £16m on turnover of only £8.4m! And stadium build costs are estimated at £130-150m. The owners better have deep pockets because they'll never see a penny of their investment back.

Good luck though. As someone once said "it's a funny old game"
