I posted before and got some great tips on a trip we are doing in September .
We want to stop in Auxerre for two nights and are really struggling to find something that works for us . We have five other towns booked and are struggling on this one .

Appreciate any recommendations from experience please .

Hotel , central, lift or no more than one flight of stairs so ground or first floor, breakfast . Two adults early 60's troublesome knee smile Price 150-200 Euro a night
Any recommendations please in this town or nearby if we cant stay in the town easily .

Thank you

Did you discount Hotel Le Maxime for some reason?

No availability on our dates. They actually took a booking from us and a deposit. Then contacted us to say they can't honour the booking.
Have you stayed there

I don't think they want two nights when they can sell a week, albeit its not great practice on their part.

We had booked to stay at a small independent hotel fairly central, but they cancelled on us at short notice. Tried to book Ibis Auxerre Centre, but fully booked. Ended up staying at the Ibis Styles Auxerre Nord - nice enough, but a bit of a walk out of the town centre.

If it’s available, I think the Ibis Auxerre Centre will tick your boxes.
