M440i transmission clunk

Hi

Had my m440i coupe for a few months now and noticed a subtle clunk from the rear. It especially happens at low speed, for example when coasting to a red light, which then turns green and you accelerate, I can then hear the clunk from the rear. It's quite low, but noticeable especially when music is turned off.

As the car does the auto stop start because its a mild hybrid, its like the engine is shutting off then coming back on quickly, engaging the transmission causing the noise.

I have it booked in with bmw (auc) in a few days for a fault diagnosis but I wanted to see if any owners of a m440i or m340i has experienced this before, last thing I want is bmw to charge me £200 for a fault diagnosis to tell me its normal.
