Differing opinions on Google as to whether to seal or not.

They are quite light coloured textured slabs and resin grout, in front of the house so will get quite a high traffic volume so I would like to keep them looking good.

Any reccomendations on whther to seal and if so a good brand and best method of application?

Watching with interest, we've just had 90 sqm of porcelain laid and I'm wondering if I need to seal it or not.

We’ve had some fairly large porcelain tiles laid inside and out recently…been down six months and no issues so far at all.It would be pretty obvious if the external ones are darkening because they are laid adjacent to the internal. Just checked suppliers website…they say they don’t need sealing.

I’d probably seal them, especially since they’re light and in a busy spot. It just makes cleaning easier and stops stains from settling in. I used Lithofin on mine with a roller and it went on fine, just make sure they’re dry and clean before you do it.

Didn't know you had to? We put them down on a patio and they were great for a couple of years until we moved. A quick hose/brush after winter saw them clean again

Thanks for that.

I have slabs out back that are smooth and not sealed and they are fine.

I was mainly concerned that these new ones had quite a texture and Google says if that's the case they may be better sealed.
