We're mulling over an i8 as my wife bitterly regrets not getting one years back. Question is do people still daily them? We do have a family car aswell so space isn't too much of an issue, would be coming from a GR Yaris. Other concern are the doors in car parks, any real World thoughts?

Bought one in Feb, will trip over 10k miles covered when I go to work tomorrow.

I'd 100% recommend one, I'm historically a serial car buyer/seller but this one isn't going anywhere, really gets under the skin.

No issues with door opening in parking spaces - it actually doesn't need any more space than a 2dr car like a M3 or similar.

I've had two and used both on a daily basis. A coupe then a roadster. Overall, clocked up 110k miles in total so far.

Other than a small boot and needing to consider the doors when parking, it's a good car. I'd always get a BMW warranty though, like any expensive BMW, or expensive car really.

Cheap to run. Brakes last forever, 50mpg average in the real world. A 2020 car will have 3 years of battery warranty left too.

Yep daily my roadster love it, doors not an issue as yet. Worst case I could put the roof down remotely and climb in. I use mine a fair amount in the city or long journeys over 60mpg average. It’s mega
