Is my old 1973 TR6 in print
Discussion
I sold my 1973 CR series TR6 back in 1999, before going over to TVR and purchased a Griffith, which I still have. I kept in touch with the new owner for several years and used to get updates now and then, including heads up about any appearances in print. I was sent some sample pages from a new TR6 book soon to be published, which included my old car, but that was over 10 years ago now, and after that I lost touch with the then owner.
My car was Emerald Green, registered HOH 198L, and had some interesting history as being owned by BL management when new and appeared in some press photos. I completely rebuilt the car when in my ownership which was about 12 years.
I never did get a copy of the book, which I had forgotten about until recently, after a bit of research I think it may have been 'Triumph TR6, the Complete Story' by David Knowles.
I don't know anyone with a copy of this, and at £30 - £40 a copy dont want to take a chance on buying blind, would some kind soul if they have this please check content for me? I would be very grateful. I have also cheekily rung the TR Register who will try and assist but that may take some time.
Thanks in advance for any help, Griffer
